HEALTH CARE

Numerous pharmacies have been set up in Tbilisi and many other cities.
It is also advisable to buy medication in large pharmacy shops such as Aversy, PSP and JPC rather than in the streets.
Georgian insurance companies mainly focus on outgoing tourist insurance. Some of them deal with several types of insurance services for incoming tourism. However, tourists are currently advised to make insurance arrangements in the countries of their residence.
Whereas, most of our Mountain guides have passed training courses of EMS (Emergency Medical Service) Centre in Georgia and are capable to render First Aid Assistance.

As shown in the media there are occasionally large demonstrations in Tbilisi. There was also a short war with Russia in 2009 but the situation is now stabilized. It is now safe to travel in Georgia, especially if it is accompanied by professionals who are constantly aware of the situation. In areas where Psity offers tours, the situation is quite calm, Georgians are friendly and guests are considered a blessing for them. You'll never cease to be delighted by the warmth of your welcome.
